小學教材一般先讓學生朗讀課文，再在課文下方列出生字，老師逐一講解並示範書寫，最後再回頭重讀並分析課文。這一流程其實也是「閱讀→理解→識字」的三部曲，但因過度依賴老師，孩子少了自主識字的機會。
In most primary schools, each lesson begins with students reading the text aloud together. New characters are then listed below the passage for the teacher to explain their pronunciation, meaning, and stroke order—students practice writing them—after which the class rereads and analyzes the text in detail. While this “read → understand → learn characters” sequence aligns with LeLe’s three‐step model, its heavy reliance on teacher‐led instruction limits children’s chances to discover and internalize characters independently.
